Aparna Bhandary
In addition to her role as an adjunct coach with WRY and the Center for Creative Leadership, Aparna is an executive coach, learning and development consultant and director of her own coaching and consulting company. Aparna works with groups and individuals in organizations to create and deliver learning solutions in the areas of leadership, strategy building and creativity.
An organizational psychologist by training, Aparna brings more than 10 years of experience in the areas of human performance and learning and development to clients from multi-national corporations. Aparna spent a large part of her career working as a management consultant after gaining experience in the corporate as well as non profit industries. Aparna’s portfolio includes change management and human performance consulting, design, development and delivery of multi-platform end-to-end learning solutions and executive coaching.
With extensive multi-cultural experience, Aparna has worked both individually and in groups with senior leaders from a diverse range of industry sectors including government, banking, oil and gas, high technology, entertainment and media.
Aparna has co-authored articles on women’s leadership, innovation and social entrepreneurship. She is also certified on the Benchmarks Assessment tool, MBTI as well as the Conflict Dynamics profile. She is a member of the professional Industrial and Organizational psychology network, the Coaching Forum, the International Leadership Association and the Global Project Management group.
Aparna holds a bachelors degree with a double concentration in psychology and sociology and a masters in Industrial and Organizational psychology. She also has a post master’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
She has lived and worked in India and Australia.
