Deanna Leonard

For more than 18 years, Deanna has been helping identify and develop leadership skills to benefit individuals and the organizations they support.  Having spent most of her career in corporate America, Deanna has a keen understanding of how to navigate diverse organizational cultures, define succession plans, and identify talent.

Focused on emotional intelligence, leadership development and team dynamics, Deanna successfully led a multi-million dollar consumer product business. An expert in design and innovation, she excels at coaching, assessing, and recruiting high level marketers and designers.

Deanna Leonard serves as Executive Vice President of WRY. In this capacity, she has national responsibility for strategically growing Career Development Services.  She consults with top level leadership across a multitude of business sectors including healthcare, financial services, consumer products, and non-profits, coaching them to better understand emotional intelligence, authenticity and the impact they can have on their various teams and businesses.

Most recently, Deanna was asked to lead an organizational development project for a business in the healthcare sector as they assimilated from two organizations to one. This project included creation and implementation of talent strategy, recruiting, acquisition, assimilation, on-boarding and team development. A large portion of this project focused on diversity policy creation, diversity attraction and diversity retention.

Deanna holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, where she focused on innovative business practices and talent management. Her undergraduate degree was obtained from Northern Arizona University. Deanna is also certified in Myers-Briggs, Firo-B, Career Anchors, and ICF.
