Jane Smith

Jane Smith has over twenty-five years of counseling and career development experience. She is a National Certified Counselor and a Professionally Licensed Counselor.  She was president of a local non-profit agency for 18 years. In addition to being an adjunct coach with WRY, Jane currently has her own business, Career Consulting Services.  She works on-on-one and with small groups in a variety of settings throughout the state. Her focus has been on career development and supporting individuals as they work to manage their lives and focus on change.  Whether coaching in a workshop setting or one-on-one, Jane's focus is to build rapport with each individual. She has contracted independently for companies and the government.

Career Consulting Services provides individual and group counseling and workshops for people who have been downsized, laid-off, relocated, fired, retired or are simply looking to better position themselves on their career paths. She loves what she does. She says it is a real thrill to work with someone who is willing to tackle change and ends up with a super job. Company services include career and professional coaching, skill and accomplishment assessment, resume development and writing as well as providing marketing, networking, interviewing, and employment negotiation information.

In addition to her private business and work with WRY, Jane teaches at a local college, serves as an interviewer for employers and is an expert witness for court cases.
