Milton E. Peddycord

Milton is a retired Senior Vice President from Wachovia Bank. His career spans thirty-eight years as an Information Technology professional. He spent the last thirty years with Wachovia. He began as a programmer/developer and held numerous positions in IT.  A manager for the past twenty-two years, he has worked with both development and operations teams.  He was instrumental in introducing Wachovia's first Internet presence and internal Intranet and was first to design and implement an online system for Wachovia corporate customers.

In his years of management, he was responsible for college recruiting, training, maintaining key applications and systems and representing Wachovia on the Financial Services Technology Consortium and the Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce. He has been called to mentor and advise both staff and managers and has worked closely with Human Resources on numerous projects.

In his early years he served as a programmer for a small firm that developed products for monitor/control systems. He spent several years with Colonial Pipe Line and when he left to join Wachovia, he was the primary technician for CPL.

Milton has a BS in Mathematics from Furman University and a MS in Information Systems from Georgia Institute of Technology.
