Richard S. Miller, Ed.D

Rick has more than twenty years of senior management experience in financial services and healthcare, delivering leadership development programs, facilitating strategic planning programs, designing organizational development initiatives and coaching leaders to better reach their potential. 

Prior to devoting his energies full time to Miller Training and Development, he was Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for 15 years with a billion dollar credit union.  In this role, he was responsible for human resources, training and business development.  Before this internal corporate role, he was a vice president with a trade association where he consulted in the areas of strategic planning, management development and member relations.  In addition Rick was the manager of training and guest relations with a large hospital.

Rick has his doctorate in education from UNC-Greensboro, a master’s in teaching from the State University of New York-Albany and a bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Delaware.  He also has the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification and ACC coaching certification through the International Coach Federation.
